About the Role

As a Product Designer at HawksCode, you’ll be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences for our web and mobile applications. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create designs that are both visually appealing and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products
• Create and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and industry best practices
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and high-quality UI/UX work
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, layout, and color theory
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet)
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
