Quality Analyst (QA) Intern

HawksCode is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst (QA) Intern to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of our web and mobile applications.

This role focuses on identifying defects, improving product quality, validating functional requirements, and supporting smooth product releases. The ideal candidate has a strong testing mindset and understands software development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  
• Prepare and execute test cases based on functional requirements
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs using structured reports
  
• Conduct regression, usability, and cross-browser testing
  
• Validate APIs and backend responses (basic level)
  
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently
  
• Participate in sprint reviews and testing cycles
  
• Maintain QA documentation and test reports
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
  
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and bug life cycle
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Attention to detail with structured documentation ability
  
• Basic understanding of databases and APIs
  

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or other bug-tracking systems
  
• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts
  
• Experience in writing structured test cases
  
• Understanding of SaaS platforms or EdTech applications
