Quality Analyst (QA)

HawksCode is seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Quality Analyst (QA) to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our digital products.

The selected candidate will be responsible for validating functional requirements, identifying defects early in the development cycle, and maintaining high product quality standards across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams
  
• Validate API responses and backend integrations
  
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing
  
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
  
• Maintain QA documentation, reports, and quality metrics
  
• Ensure product releases meet defined quality benchmarks
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  
• Knowledge of bug life cycle and defect management processes
  
• Experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar)
  
• Good understanding of database queries (basic SQL)
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
  

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman)
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  
• Exposure to SaaS platforms or EdTech products
