About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at HawksCode, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll work closely with development teams to streamline processes, improve system reliability, and ensure seamless delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployability and reliability
- Automate routine operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Manage and optimize database systems and data storage solutions
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or System Administration roles
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
