UI/UX Designer Intern

HawksCode is seeking a creative and user-centric UI/UX Designer Intern to support the design and enhancement of web and mobile applications.

This role focuses on creating intuitive user interfaces, improving user journeys, and ensuring seamless digital experiences aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate understands usability principles, design systems, and user behavior.

Key Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  
• Create user flows, journey maps, and information architecture
  
• Conduct basic user research and competitor analysis
  
• Improve existing UI for better usability and engagement
  
• Collaborate with developers and product teams for implementation
  
• Maintain and update design systems and style guides
  
• Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly designs
  
• Optimize UX based on feedback and analytics
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
  
• Understanding of UX principles, usability standards, and design thinking
  
• Knowledge of typography, spacing, grid systems, and color theory
  
• Ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly designs
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics
  
• Experience in designing SaaS platforms or dashboards
  
• Understanding of accessibility standards
  
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects
