Video Editor Intern

HawksCode is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to support our digital content and marketing initiatives.

This role focuses on editing high-quality video content for branding, social media, product marketing, educational platforms, and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate understands visual storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content
  
• Create short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn clips)
  
• Develop long-form content for YouTube and marketing campaigns
  
• Add transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, and sound design
  
• Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Website)
  
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams for campaign execution
  
• Maintain organized video asset libraries
  
• Ensure brand consistency in all visual outputs
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
  
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings
  
• Knowledge of social media trends and content styles
  
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple edits
  
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  
• Basic understanding of sound editing and color correction
  

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with motion graphics
  
• Familiarity with AI video tools
